What is Nipah virus? Nipah virus symptoms :- In Kozhikode of Kerala these days, there is a panic of the dangerous virus named Nipah. It is constantly spreading there. This is the news of many deaths. The disease spread through this virus has devastated the world at different times. National Institute of Virology, Pune has found the presence of Nipah virus in three samples. This virus can take the form of an infectious epidemic.
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), Nipah virus (NiV) is a newly emerging disease, which causes severe illness in both animals and humans. It is also called ‘Nipah virus encephalitis’. Nipah virus has killed nine people so far in Kerala.

Nipah named virus spreads infectious disease. It has spread to Malaysia in 1998 and Singapore in 1999. These first sparrows spread through pigs and then appeared in many pets like dogs, cats, goats, horses, and sheep. It hurts on humans rapidly. Nipah Virus was named after this name, first spreading to a village in Malaysia. This is included in the World Health Organization list.
Nipah virus spreads through a specific breed called the Pteropus genes.

- Initially there is intense irritation (encephalitis), headache and fever in the brain.
- Being mentally sluggish and Confusion with fever In some cases, breathing can be a problem.
- In 3 to 24 hours, if the symptoms are not in control, then the person goes into the coma and if the effective treatment is not obtained, then the person dies.
